The Young Carers Project at the Bowes Lyon Centre is a safe and friendly environment where young people can get involved in activities - or just chill out and talk. It's a great opportunity to meet and make new friends that you will have something in common with. We meet every Wednesday night 6.30-9.30pm.

There's a range of activities on offer for you to take part in. The new programme of activities starting in January 2012 includes:

* Photography
* Cooking
* Multisports

Young carers will also have a specific time out once a month to hang out, chat and discuss issues affecting them.

The new café will be open during these sessions from 7-8pm for you to buy hot drinks and food.
