Education Support Group, Watford

ESG was formed in 1995 to provide tutorial and home work support in science and mathematics to boys aged 11 to 17. ESG classes are held from 10.00am to 1.00pm on Saturdays at Watford Grammar School for Boys. Our main objectives are:
• To provide high quality tutorial support
• Help in improving literacy skills through science teaching
• Raise standards of achievement in science and mathematics with special reference to language of science
Other Activities:
• Liaising with families
• Holding regular workshops with parents to cover science and maths at year 7 to 8 levels
• Contacting the main schools to monitor progress of pupils attending the ESG
