Hitchin Sea Cadets
The Sea Cadet Corps is open to boys and girls aged 10-18 years. New adult staff are always welcome and the Sea Cadet Corps offers an excellent training scheme for adults. The aim of the Sea Cadet Corps is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy. The aim is achieved by participation in sailing, canoeing, powerboating, offshore sail ship training, mechanical engineering, radio communications, cook/steward studies, drill and ceremonial parades, training courses at naval establishments, etc.
The unit is based at: TS Danae, TA Centre, Bedford Road, Hitchin (this address is not suitable for mail).
On parade nights only, the phone for this site is 07787 753318. Parade nights are Tuesdays and Fridays, from 7.30pm-9.30pm.
