This is a boxing club for all ages, why not come and get involved?

Watford Boxing Club was established in 2002 and its original home was at the Watford Irish Centre. However, moving to its own premises in the grounds of Sun Postal Sports Club in 2004 saw the club go from strength to strength.
The club has four regular volunteers who help with the day to day running of the club, including delivering the fitness and boxing sessions, dealing with administration and maintenance costs. Sessions run on a Monday, Wednesday and Sunday evening for three hours, as well as some of the members having the opportunity to attend competitions each year, which take place at the weekends.
There are currently forty seven members at the club, aged 10 years+, with a £15 membership fee, and a charge of £1 per session.
The club has recently undergone renovation work with new changing facilities, including toilets and showers, new flooring throughout the building, a new boiler, a new roof and new electrics. The club also put the money towards buying new kits for members.
There is a lively and positive atmosphere at the club, which is a credit to the volunteers.
