'Carers in Hertfordshire' Young Carers project is run county wide and provides breaks, activities and trips to young carers between the ages of 9-18. For further information please see the website as given below.
Young carers are children or young people who play a significant role in the care for their parents, grandparents and siblings in their own home.
There are some young carers support groups around the county providing support for under 10s, for information about these groups and youth groups for age 13+ where there is a young carers link worker please contact the Young Carers Project.
