A support group offering a range of activities and valuable advice for young mums and mums to be aged 13-19
The project centres around issues that are important to the young mums or mums to be, and offers the opportunity to learn new skills. The young people support each other, share experiences and voice their concerns. There is a planned programme of activities, and a health visitor comes once a month for an informal session to give advice.
Young people's successes are recorded and celebrated by a friendly team of qualified youth workers.
This group is for young mums and mums-to-be under 20. Crèche facilities are provided. The programme is put together by the young people attending the group and this has included first aid, beauty tasters, sexual health and benefits advice.
